Camping versus 5 stars

I like camping, but I can’t say that I absolutely love it. I like it because my
husband and kids love it. I love the fresh air, the feeling of being in the bush,
sitting around a campfire and toasting marshmallows, being on the river, the
relaxed timetable of not really having an agenda and being with the family.
So camping can be great, but I’d probably like to ‘glamp’ more than my
family would…And… I don’t like dirt in my toes and on my clothes, I don’t like not being able to have a hot shower, I don’t really love eating bbq for every meal of the
day and of having hair that smells like a campfire.

So for me going 5 Star is definitely more of a treat, but not something that
the family would really appreciate.

But when I got to stay at the Crown a few years ago with my sister, I really
loved the experience. I hope to be able to do it again one day soon, with or
without them!
